FAQ - Studio Classes

What are studio classes?

All studio classes are taught physically at our studio. We keep the class size small to observe every students’ movements. Personalized corrections and tips are provided to every student. There’s time for Q&A at the end to maximize your learning outcome as well.

When Should I arrive the studio?

You should arrive at least 5 minutes before the class starts.

It’s my first visit, what do I need to do?

Arrive 5 to 10 minutes early if it’s your first class at Mindful Pilates. So there’s enough time for you to get changed, sign the waiver form and relax before the class begins.
Our instructors would love to learn about your exercise preference, injury history and your fitness goals as well.

What if I’m late?

We want to provide the best experience to everyone so please arrive early and be ready on time to avoid disruption of an on-going class. Students who are late more than 5 minutes will not be granted access to enter the class to avoid disruption to fellow students.
If you run a little late, sign in and set your things aside quietly, then find the closest mat and quietly inform the instructor if you have any aches and pain or injuries.

Which class is suitable for me?

We care about your needs and providing a safe and effective workout is our priority. Before purchasing a package or booking a class, please have a read through our class descriptions.

If you have the following specific exercise needs, such as pre & post-natal care, injury recovery, osteoporosis, chronic back pain, or other aliments contact us on 6620 7050 or email info@mindfulpilates.com.hk before any enrolment.

To ensure a high safety standard of all our Pilates classes, we reserve the right to reschedule any un-informed bookings by someone who needs more personalized care on arrival.

What happens at the end of a class?

It is our culture at Mindful Pilates to connect with others and answer questions to help you learn better. Instead of rushing to leave, do stay behind to ask questions and get your movement tips while we all clean the mats and put things away.

What should I bring for the class?

To stay hygienic, please wear clean socks or have your feet sanitized before stepping on the mats.

If you are usually sweaty or wearing make-up, please bring a small towel for placing on the mat or the Pilates cushions to soak up the sweat and avoid transferring the make-up to the mats.

Are the mats and equipment provided?

Yes, all mats and associated equipment are provided by the studio and please help to clean them after use. Feel free to bring your own if you feel the need.
